As a professional wedding photographer since 2008, I still wake up in the morning of a wedding day feeling excited and nervous.  One reason is I take wedding photography as a platform to exhibit my photography skills.  I’m constantly studying wedding photography by attending annual master classes at WPPI, networking with local wedding vendors in the Monterey Bay and constructively reviewing my current body work.  To photograph a wedding with precision, skill and beauty requires preparation, focus and passion.  I couldn’t be more honored to photograph Sean and Rita’s wedding.

I’ve known Sean, the groom, since I was a teacher at North Salinas High School.  Through his group of loyal friends, Sean has always been well-mannered with a great sense of humor.  Sean is a fun guy to be around and has a great attitude towards life.  Last year, when Sean introduced me to his fiancé, Rita, it was a great opportunity to be considered their wedding photographer.  Throughout the months before the wedding, Rita provided all the details that I needed to bring my best photography.  Thank you Rita for all your support and attention to detail as these photographs has your “wedding fingerprint” all over.

Sean and Rita’s wedding was beautifully planned at Kirigin Cellars in Gilroy, California this past summer.  Outdoor temperatures that week reached past ninety degrees, so I already knew that it was going to be warmer than normal.  My team and I arrived early to capture all the wedding details from their sporty table center pieces, Rita’s gorgeous wedding dress and to the rolling hills of Gilroy.  Sean and Rita were preparing for their wedding day but wouldn’t see each other prior to the ceremony is a traditional following.  They did have a private moment together prior to their wedding ceremony exchanging love notes and even holding hands.  Their anticipation to get married was growing more than ever and excitement definitely filled the warm summer air.  With all their invited family and friends, Sean and Rita, expressed their love for one another and committed themselves to a life of love and marriage.  I hope these wedding photos will remind them of all the fun and excitement they shared with one another.  Congratulations you two.  =)
